McCarthy's Invade the Ski Slopes
Janet, Michael, and Tricia joined a Ski Club this past winter. The Club is located in Bartlett, NH (next town over from North Conway) and close to numerous mountains including Wild Cat, Cranmore, Attitash, and Bretton Woods. Sunday River is only about 1 hour away. The club is called the Stoneham Skidaddler's Ski and Sports Club. The club holds 60 people and the accommodations are similar to college dormitories. These types of clubs are a great way to meet new people and ski for substantially less money then renting places. There are `social' gatherings every Saturday night throughout the ski season, so, all members must be at least 21 years old. For non-members who stay as guests in the club there is only a $15.00 per night charge!! That's pretty reasonable!!! And the great part about the clubs are they can be used during the summer months. Kids under 21 are allowed in during the non-event Summer week-ends, as long as they are planned in advance! If anyone is interested in learning more about the club, please give any of us a call.
